Team Misdirected’s 3rd Annual Midnight Marauder New Year's Eve Adventure Race

What: A New Year's Eve adventure race. There will only be ONE course this year. Everyone can do it!!! Strategy will be key!

Where: The race will be hosted by Team Misdirected and check-in will be at the Baumgartner' s house:

1641 Delford Ave.
Duarte, CA

When: New Year's Eve

Race check-in will be between 7:00 and 7:30. Don’t be late or you may miss the start!

Race conclusion: The race will conclude at the Baumgartner’s BEFORE midnight with a time cut-off. So everyone will be together to celebrate!!!

Who: We hope all of you. Teams can be either 2 or 4 people. (Adjustments can be made at the discretion of Team Misdirected)

Registration Fee: None (just mandatory equipment)

We hope you will join us for a fun night of adventure and laughs.

Even if you are not participating, there will be plenty of room for spectators and we also need willing volunteers!.

If you are participating: 1) your name; 2) the name of others on your team, 3) a team name, 4) an email address for at least one member of your team

If you want to play and don't have a team - that's o.k. Just register and we will find you a team.

If you want to volunteer – that would be awesome – just shoot us an email!

If you want to be a spectator – that is awesome too!

Mandatory gear list:
A head lamp (each team member)
A digital camera (one per team) [Note cell phone cameras are acceptable – but be aware that some pictures are difficult to take w/o a flash.]
Running shoes (each team member)
$10 (per person)
Cell phone (one per team)
Transportation (Note there will be one section of the course that will require you to use your own transportation. Private transportation is permitted for this section of the course only. Obey all traffic laws – there will be no benefits for speeding.)
Good cheer (each team member)

Recommended personal gear list for participants:
Reflective vest
Hydration & fuel
Watch – you don’t want to miss the time cut-offs
Warm clothes (including gloves / hats) – it is usually quite chilly
Pen/pencil and paper
Dry and warm clothes for after the race.
Rain gear (if needed)
Driver (You are permitted a driver for the section of the course that permits private transportation. The driver is not a navigator – merely a driver.)

Recommended items for spectators/volunteers:
Warm clothing, extra jackets, gloves, blankets
Folding / beach / camp chair

What will be provided:
Fun
Medals for the top three teams
Food
Although there will be food aplenty, if there is some special dish or beverage you’d like to share with us, please bring it along!

Donation: Team Misdirected events seek to serve our community as well as our friends. As a result, part of the race will include a community service / donation aspect.
